I have two big business goals for this quarter. One is to get to MVP (minimum viable product) of Impulse Bye, which would then give me two more months to refine things for a November launch. The second is to make progress on making my 31 zines for the year by creating 6 printable zines and 6 RISO printed zines.
I also have a handful of smaller goals, too. Mostly around creating content to get my work out there. I wrote them up on cut-up sticky notes and put them on a quarterly calendar. I love using sticky notes instead of writing things directly on calendars because it makes it so easy to move things around.
Here’s what I want to do over the next three months, in numbers:
1 whole freaking app
3 grant applications
4 videos
6-12 Impulse Bye updates
12 TMA newsletters
12 zines
This is also my 8th post, so I get a little reward. I bought myself a Squishmallow, specifically Simon the Sloth dressed as an orange 🍊 I’ve never had a Squishmallow before, but I do love having a pillow or something to chill with at my desk. So might as well make it an adorable one.
Plus, a sloth is going to be the mascot for Impulse Bye, and my dog’s name is Simon, so it felt extra serendipitous. The orange costume is just dang cute.
