Hi, I’m Sarah Joy (aka SJ). I’m an indie app developer, zine maker, poet, and all around creative.

I’ve been working as a web developer since 2015, and quit my job in the summer of 2023 to work on my own projects. Specifically, a mobile app idea that’s been sitting in my brain building up potential energy for a while: Impulse Bye, an app for tracking the money you didn’t spend.

Ultimately, I’m pursuing a life of creativity and art, and these newsletters are my way of long form documenting my path and my growth and my mistakes and my work.

   1. You’ll receive an email whenever a new product is posted, as well as first notice about sales and coupon codes. Might be once a week, or once every couple of weeks.

3. Impulse Bye Updates

   1. You’ll receive updates as I hit major milestones as I build out this app. At most, once a week.
